Natalie Shaughnessy was one of the recipients of the St. Timothy Award. The ceremony was held at the St. John Neumann Pastoral Center in Piscataway, NJ. Students in the 11th and 12th grades from various schools in the diocese of Metuchen, were invited to submit a short personal statement, either written or visual, to the Award Committee. Pastors were asked to list leadership roles held by the nominee as well as reasons why they were  recommending the youths for the award.
